Our Gamma Knife team at Bayfront Medical Center includes neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists and nurses. This expert staff adheres to the highest standards of patient care and is committed to giving patients all the information, support, and care they need.
 
  Henry Earl Cotman, M.D. - Radiation Oncologist
 
Dr. Cotman serves on many hospital committees, including the Oncology Committee and the Research and Review Committee. He has participated in studies involving cancer treatment and radiotherapy, and has pursued continuing education in radiation therapy at the University of Minnesota and the Harvard School of Medicine. Dr. Cotman is a Fellow of the American Cancer Society and a member of Who's Who Among Black Americans.
   
  Frank P. Franzese, M.D.- Radiation Oncologist
 
Dr. Franzese has served as the director of Brachytherapy/ 3D conformal Radiotherapy at Bayfront Cancer Care Center for the past decade.  His post-doctorial studies focused on cancer treatment.  He conducted research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and served as Chief Resident/ Radiation Oncology at New York University Medical Center/ Bellevue Medical Center in New York City.
   
  Kent Hale Larsen, Ph. D. - Medical Physicist
 
Dr. Larsen has been a clinical medical physicist for more than 20 years. During this time, he has taught and conducted research at the university level, published several papers and lectured at regional and national conferences. He is a past president of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, the Health Physics Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
   
  Robert J. Miller - Radiation Oncologist
 
Dr. Miller is medical director of Bayfornt's Cancer Care Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology, American Cancer Society and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Miller is a founding member and first national president of the Academy of Hospice Physicians. He is widely published in the areas of terminal cancer, chemotherapy and ethical issues.
   
  Rosario A. Musella, M.D. - Neurosurgeon
 
Dr. Musella brings more than four decades of surgical experience to the Bayfront program, including international practice. He has taught at the Division of Neurological Surgery at University of South Florida and the University of Florida, and published more than 35 articles. His many memberships including the American Medical Association and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
